It has come to my attention that there is some confusion with a business operated by Mr Lee Clarke under the title "Eagle Meats".
This firm has been approaching wholesale meat suppliers and I understand has been requesting credit facilities.
The misperception arises from the similarity of the name of this firm to mine.

I am hereby advising you that Eagle Meats and Mr Lee Clarke have no connection with my own firm Robert Smith (Writtle) Ltd trading as D.S.Eagle Butchers.
Several suppliers have contacted me when approached by Mr Lee Clarke to see whether there is any connection between our firms.
Robert Smith (Writtle) Ltd t/a D.S.Eagle Butchers has traded successfully over a number of years and I shall be grateful if you would always confirm any orders placed by telephone with myself directly (Robert Smith) before you fulfill any orders.
I would like to introduce this procedure to our trading relationship to protect both firms from any negative or incorrect transactions that may harm either or both businesses.
